The Final Effect

The original design of the New Territories Small House, known as the "Ding House," emerged without the influence of an architect. This project focused on transforming the spaces and staircase to create a harmonious circulation and proportion that beautifully reflects the homeowner's unique preferences.
新界丁屋，又稱為“丁屋”，其最初的設計並沒有受到建築師的影響。在這個專案中，我們專注於改造空間和樓梯，以創造和諧的循環和比例，完美地反映房主的獨特喜好。
The Ground Floor
Foyer and staircase
Bespoke perforated screens made the tiny foyer entrance more open and interesting, while the lighting on the staircase behind the screen created depth in the foyer.
客製化的穿孔屏風使小小的門廳入口更加開放和有趣，而屏風後面樓梯上的燈光則為門廳增添了深度。
TV cabinet
The house has a headroom height of only 2300mm. To avoid the oppressive feel caused by installing a ceiling lamp, the wall sconce and the light trough in the TV cabinet will provide ambient lighting in the living room.
該房屋淨空高度僅2300mm。為了避免安裝吸頂燈帶來的壓抑感，壁燈和電視櫃內的燈槽為客廳提供氣氛燈。

The area includes a mini-bar, storage cabinets, and a door that provides access to the staircase storage.

GF Kitchen & Bathroom
The kitchen cabinet, countertop, and walls featured various grey finishes, while the bathroom was designed in an industrial style with concrete ceramic tiles and black accents.
廚房櫥櫃、檯面和牆壁採用各種灰色飾面，而浴室則採用工業風格設計，並配有混凝土瓷磚和黑色裝飾。

Bed and wall storage
The full-height back cabinet, which is a focal point in the master bedroom, provides additional storage for this small space.

1F Bathrooms
The guest bathroom featured an industrial style with concrete ceramic tiles and black accents. In contrast, the master bathroom's design elements extended from the bedroom, creating a warmer atmosphere with wooden ceramic tiles.
客用浴室採用工業風格，配有混凝土瓷磚和黑色裝飾。相較之下，主浴室的設計元素從臥室延伸出來，用木質瓷磚營造出更溫暖的氛圍。
