Client's needs : Creating a open residential space, as well as a open kitchen and bathroom. It must be modern, nature and simple with design details of the homeowner's own habits and personal preferences.

Location

Located at Union SquareKowloon near Kowloon station. The building has glass curtain walls and views of Victoria Harbour. The glass facade matches the design language of the neighbouring International Commerce Centre.

Homeowner's unit

This was done by opening up the walls in the kitchen, bedroom to making home feel wider and thus creating a more breathable and spacious area to maximizing the room’s potential.

The entrance is also a storage area and composed of homely wooden finished cabinets.

Living area

 

The natural hues harmoniously coexist with splashes of pastel colours, predominantly in pink, which grace a comfortable sofa, book case and cabinets, and other furnishings throughout the home.

Dining area and open kitchen

 

The dining area is completed by a white artificial stone finished kitchen island and a rounded wood dining table.

(Master Bedroom And Walk-in Closet)

Similarly to the living areas, wood has been extensively used in these spaces . Although minimalist in aesthetic, the several decorations have been added that personalize and animate the space such as a colourful carpet, colour gradient wall paper covering and glass wardrobe.

The warmness of the wooden elements is contrasted with the coolness of the white wall tiles that form a grid in the shower area.
